For the first time the United States Amateur Champion confronted the British Amateur Champion in the final at Brae Burn Country Club, West Newton, Mass. It was Jones vs. T. Philip Perkins, of the British Walker Cup Team, and Jones won, 10 and 9. George Voigt was medalist.
